Archive and library relocation

The work involved in the relocation of archives is no piece of cake. What takes so much time is the order in which the archives are packed and unpacked. Again, this is one of Convoi’s specialities. Our staff have been trained to move as many archiving systems in as little time as possible. This means using the most up-to-date materials such as plastic archive containers or sealed trolleys.

In the first instance, the archives or books are colour coded (just the shelves). In this way it is possible to guarantee the right sequence. Our foremen coordinate all the work and provide daily progress updates. The planning can be altered and any problems solved in close consultation with Convoi’s project manager.

For archive and library relocation, it is our aim to deploy a fixed team of relocation experts. Archives should be treated with confidentiality and, if necessary, our staff can be screened beforehand. We can do internal relocations (within the same building) as well as external (between buildings). In order to do this we employ the most up-to-date materials for packing and transport.
