Packing materials

1. Trolleys
High-sided trolleys are used to transport boxes, whiteboards, paintings, computers and large unwieldy items.

2. Shelf trolleys
Extra shelving for trolleys for the protection of vulnerable items on trolleys, e.g. computers.

3. Foam rubber guards
These guards are placed in trolleys as shock absorbers to protect PCs, monitors, etc.

4. Trolley boxes
Trolley boxes are primarily used to pack the contents of cupboards and shelves.

5. Storage boxes
These are suitable for storing the contents of desk drawers.

6. Archive boxes
Archive boxes can be bought and used for (long-term) storage of your archive at Convoi’s depot.

7. Metre containers
These are robust, stackable plastic containers suitable for transporting books and files.

Lay-out plan

Our staff will refurnish your offices on the basis of a lay-out plan. These can be drawn up by our own CAD draughtsmen. They will draw a ground plan of the rooms, discuss these with the departmental coordinators and can make a print out of the final drawing in various sizes.

Cupboard movers

These are used to transport cupboards and cabinets. They are more solid than flatbed trolleys.

Desk raisers

Desk raisers are compact undercarriages with castors which are height-adjustable. These are placed under a desk to transport or adjust the height.

Rol-a-lifts

Rol-a-lifts come in three designs: light, medium and heavy. They are used for the transport of large safes up to 6000 kg in size.

Ramp

This is a special piece of apparatus used where there are only steps to the entrance of the building and is assembled in such a way that the steps can be by-passed. The relocation material is manoeuvred into the back of a truck directly

Removal platform

This is a special platform designed by Convoi for removals to buildings where there are no lifts, or the use of a lift will lead to loss of time. The platform is used to pass items through a window in the first or second floor of a building and is raised by means of a fork-lift truck.

Climatised truck

This means of transport has been specially constructed for the carriage of servers. The temperature and the humidity in the loading space are fully controlled! The truck is also highly suitable for transportation of artwork, special book collections and plants.

Stairclimber

If there is no lift, but heavy objects need to be transported to floors higher up, the stairclimber, which incorporates a system of rollers, can be used.
